Lindsay Bloom, born on August 28, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska, is an American television actress known for her role as Velda in the series “Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer.” She began her career in entertainment as a beauty pageant contestant and went on to win titles such as Miss Omaha in 1968 and Miss Utah in 1969. Despite gaining recognition through these accomplishments, she garnered attention for publicly refusing to pose nude for Playboy magazine. Bloom’s roots trace back to Omaha, where she secured her first pageant victory.
