About Linda Pira
Linda Pira (born August 25, 1985) is a Colombian-born Swedish rapper. She gained widespread recognition in 2013 with her EP Matriarken and received the Grammis Award for New Artist of the Year. In 2015, she also won several P3 Guld awards, including Song of the Year for “Knapper Mina Fingrar – Remix.”
Pira moved to Sweden from Colombia at a young age and attended high school at Fryshuset. In 2013, she was the subject of a six-episode SVT documentary titled “Linda Pira – Som du Inte Visste.” Her parents are Zulima and Kjell Giraldo.
She is also a mother to two sons.
