About Linda George
Linda George, born on February 11, 1964 in Baghdad, Iraq, is a world music singer known for her dance songs and sentimental ballads. She primarily records in the Assyrian language and has released popular singles such as “Jarabyateh,” “Ouf Minokh,” “Ah Leleh,” and “Kha Youma.”
George’s musical journey began at the young age of 5 when she started singing as a church choir soloist. In addition to her singing career, she also established the Linda George Boutique where she curated her own collection of evening gowns.
In 1979, George and her family relocated to Amman, Jordan before eventually settling in Chicago, Illinois in 1980.
