Levante, whose real name is Claudia Lagona, is a prominent Italian pop singer born on May 23, 1987. Rising to fame in 2013 with her gold certified debut single “Alfonso,” Levante has established herself as a successful singer-songwriter.

Born in Caltagirone, near Catania, Levante experienced the loss of her father at the young age of 9 and subsequently moved with her family to Turin. She has two sisters and one brother, and her mother’s name is Rosario Lagona.

At just 14 years old, Levante began writing songs. Her talent was recognized when she signed with INRI in 2013 and recorded her debut song “Alfonso.” Since then, she has released albums such as Manuale Distruzione, Abbi Cura Di Te and Nel Caos Di Stanze Stupefacenti.

Beyond her musical career, Levante expanded into other creative endeavors. In 2017 she became a judge on the eleventh season of Italy’s The X Factor and also published her first novel entitled Se Non Ti Vedo Non Esisti.
