Leslie Parrish, born on March 13, 1935 in Melrose, Massachusetts, is an American actress known for her role in the 1959 film Li’l Abner and her performance in the 1962 movie The Manchurian Candidate. Before gaining fame as an actress, she pursued piano studies at the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music while also working as a model to finance her education. Upon relocating to Hollywood in her late teens, she signed contracts with Twentieth Century Fox and later Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Parrish made appearances on the television series Perry Mason during the 1960s. She was married to Eric Marlow from 1956 until 1961 and then later tied the knot with Richard Bach in 1977; their marriage ended in divorce in 1999.
