Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, born on December 9, 1962 in California, is a TV actress celebrated for her work as a puppeteer and performer in children’s shows. One of her most notable roles is portraying Abby Cadabby on Sesame Street. In addition to her television work, she also showcases her talents through one-woman shows alongside Lolly the Puppet.
Before pursuing a career in entertainment, Carrara-Rudolph attended San Francisco State University after growing up in Walnut Creek, California.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to children’s programming, she received an Emmy nomination for Best Performer in a Children’s Series in 2009. She has been married to Paul Rudolph who worked as the music coordinator on Muppets Tonight.
