About Lesley Hampton
Lesley Hampton is a Canadian fashion designer and artist of Anishinaabe descent. Born on August 6, 1994, she is known for being the owner and designer behind her eponymous fashion label. In addition to her work in fashion, Hampton is also a model signed to BNM Model Management and has spoken extensively on Indigenous entrepreneurship.
Prior to gaining recognition in the fashion industry, Hampton spent much of her childhood moving around with her family. They lived in various locations including Canada’s Arctic and Atlantic regions, Australia, England, Indonesia, and New Caledonia.
In 2020, Lesley Hampton was nominated for the Fashion Impact Award at the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards. She hails from Temagami First Nation located in northern Ontario where she resides with her family.
