Lena Meyer-Landrut, born on May 23, 1991 in Hanover, Germany, is a pop singer known for representing Germany in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest and winning with her song “Satellite.” Her debut album, My Cassette Player, achieved the top spot on music charts.

Prior to her rise to fame, she participated in the Our Star for Oslo song contest where she gained attention and became a crowd favorite. Following her initial success at Eurovision, she later represented Germany again in the contest’s 2011 edition.

Outside of her music career, Lena comes from Hanover and has roots to Hungarian nobility through her grandmother. She is an only child and celebrated the arrival of a son with her husband Mark Forster in February 2021.
