About Lena Katina
Lena Katina is a Russian singer-songwriter, famously known as one half of the duo t.A.T.u. She was born on October 4, 1984, in Moscow, Russia.
Katina gained widespread recognition for her work with t.A.T.u., especially for the hit song “All the Things She Said.” In 2009, she embarked on a solo career and achieved success with her debut single “Never Forget,” which won the MTV Russia Video Of The Year award in 2011.
Before rising to fame, she began her musical journey at the age of eight in the children’s group Avenue. Later in 1999 at fifteen years old she joined t.A.T.u.
An interesting fact about Lena Katina is that “All The Things She Said” became a global phenomenon and peaked at number twenty on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart—a significant achievement as it marked the first time a Russian act had charted there.
In her personal life, Katina married musician Sash Kuzma in 2013. They welcomed their son Aleksandr into the world in 2015.
