Lela Rochon is an American actress born on April 17, 1964 in Los Angeles, California. She gained recognition for her role as Robin Stokes in the film Waiting to Exhale and further established her career with roles in Any Given Sunday, First Daughter, and Harlem Nights.
Prior to her acting career taking off, she appeared in Budweiser commercials during the late 1980s. Additionally, Rochon starred alongside Eddie Murphy in Harlem Nights and Boomerang.
She married Antoine Fuqua in 1999 and the couple welcomed their daughter Asia in 2002 followed by a son named Brandon in 2004.
