Leisel Jones, born on August 30, 1985, in Australia, is a former Olympic swimmer widely celebrated as one of the greatest breaststroke swimmers of all time. Throughout her elite Olympic career, she achieved an impressive tally of three gold medals, five silver medals, and one bronze medal.
Prior to fame, she was coached by renowned swim coach Ken Wood who played a pivotal role in shaping her swimming prowess. In 2012, Leisel made history as the first Australian swimmer to compete at four Olympic Games.
