Leire Martinez is a Spanish pop and rock music singer and songwriter, born on June 22, 1979. She is best known as the lead vocalist of the Spanish band La Oreja de Van Gogh. Martinez made her debut with the band on the hit single “El Ultimo Vals” in 2008.
Prior to her music career, she gained attention by competing on the talent show program Factor X in 2007. Martinez subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony BMG.
