Lauren Lane is a television actress born on February 2, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She gained recognition for her role as C.C. Babcock on the television series The Nanny.

Prior to her acting career, she studied theater at the American Conservatory Theater in California. In addition to her role on The Nanny, Lane had recurring supporting roles on L.A. Law and Hunter.

Lane has a daughter named Kate with David Wilkins.
