Laura Trott, born on April 24, 1992 in England, is a successful Olympic track and road cyclist. In 2016, she became the most accomplished athlete in her event after securing her third and fourth gold medals. She was also a nominee for Sports Personality of the Year that same year.
Before gaining fame as a cyclist, Trott started cycling when her mother took up the sport to lose weight. She won gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics with Dani King and Joanna Rowsell in the category Team pursuit.
