Laura Stevenson is an American rock singer and songwriter, born on April 25, 1984 in New York. She is known for her indie rock style and has gained recognition for songs such as “Claustrophobe,” “Emily In Half” and “The Pretty One.”
Prior to her music career, Stevenson began writing songs while in college and played keyboard for Jeff Rosenstock’s band Bomb the Music Industry.
Stevenson released her first album, A Record, in 2010. She comes from a musical background – her grandfather was a composer for Christmas songs.
