About Laura Fortino
Laura Fortino is a Canadian hockey player born on January 30, 1991 in Hamilton, Canada. She is known for her successful career representing Team Canada at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia where she won a gold medal.
Prior to her Olympic success, Fortino played college hockey at Cornell University. She also achieved gold at the 2012 IIHF World Women’s Championships as part of her accomplishments in the sport.
Fortino hails from Hamilton, Ontario and has established herself as a prominent figure in Canadian women’s hockey through her achievements on both national and international stages.
