Laura Calder is a Canadian TV show host, best known for her role as the host of French Food At Home. Born on April 21, 1970 in Saint John, Canada, she gained popularity through appearances on the Food Network in Canada and the Cooking Channel in the United States.
Prior to her television career, she worked as a sports reporter and in public relations in Toronto before finding it too confining. Her diverse experiences have also led her to be a guest judge on Top Chef Canada and the American version of Iron Chef.
Calder has strong roots in eastern Canada, having grown up around New Brunswick.
