LaToya London Feet

LaToya London, born on December 29, 1978 in San Francisco, California, is a pop singer known for her impressive run as the fourth place finalist on the third season of American Idol. She was also a member of the band Urban Punk and released her first album, Love & Life, in 2005.

Prior to her rise to fame, London had been singing since she was four years old and was involved with various bands including a Christian rock group. Additionally, she played the starring role of Nettie in the musical The Color Purple based on Alice Walker’s novel.

Family-wise LaToya grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and later married but eventually divorced; during this time she also became a stepmother to her husband’s children.
