Kym Marsh, born June 13, 1976 in Whiston, England, is an English TV actress best known for her role as Michelle Connor on the long-running soap opera Coronation Street. She began her television career with a role on the show Doctors at age nineteen and went on to win the 2007 British Soap Award for Best Newcomer.
Marsh has been involved in several high-profile relationships, including marriages to Jack Ryder from 2002 to 2009 and Jamie Lomas from 2012 to 2014. Her relationship with Dave Cunliffe produced two children: David (born in 1995) and Emilie (born in 1997). With Jamie Lomas, she had a son named Archie who tragically passed away shortly after birth and later welcomed a daughter named Polly.
In June of 2021 she got engaged to Scottish army major Scott Ratcliffe; they married that October.
