About Kyeon Mi-ri
Kyeon Mi-ri is a South Korean TV actress born on December 25, 1964. She is well-known for her portrayal of Lady Choi in the Korean television series Dae Jang Geum. Kyeon Mi-ri gained further recognition with her role as Yang Ok-kyung in the series Golden Bride, earning her a 2007 SBS Drama Award.
Before rising to fame, Kyeon Mi-ri studied in the dance department at Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea and appeared in several television series including 500 Years of Joseon during the 1980s.
Besides acting, she also pursued a music career releasing her debut pop album titled Happy Women in 2009. In terms of family life, Kyeon Mi-ri was previously married to Im Young-gyu from 1987 until 1993. Her second marriage to Lee Hong-heon began in 1998 and she has raised two daughters, one of whom named Lee Yu-bi followed her footsteps into acting.
