Kristyn Osborn is a country singer and songwriter, born on August 24, 1970 in Magna, Utah. She is most well-known as the primary songwriter for the all-sister country band SHeDAISY. The group achieved success with platinum-selling albums such as their 1999 debut “The Whole SHeBANG.”
Prior to her music career, Osborn sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Utah jazz basketball games and began performing with SHeDAISY (then known as The Osborn Sisters) in 1989.
Osborn is the eldest of the three SHeDAISY sisters and the band’s name is derived from the Navajo term for “my little sister.” She has two sisters – Kelsi and Kassidy – who are also members of the band, as well as another sister named Karli and two brothers named Clayton and Cade. In 1998 she married Joel Stevenett but they divorced in 2002.
