Kristin MacDowell is a health conscious nutritionist and blogger, born on February 5, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri. She is known for being one half of the blogging duo Mr. and Mrs. Vegan, and along with her husband has created the vegan cookbook Whole Starch Low Fat.
Before gaining fame as a blogger, she obtained a certificate in plant based nutrition from Cornell University in 2012. Additionally, she founded the company PlateWatchers.
In January 2017, Kristin and her husband Lex welcomed their son named Tate into the world.
