About Kristie Sita
Kristie Sita is a Canadian dancer and physical disability consultant based in Vancouver. She gained prominence through her YouTube channel, where she shares her experiences as an amputee dancer with over 220,000 subscribers.
Before gaining recognition on social media, Sita began training in dance at the age of 5. However, at 16 years old, she was involved in a severe boating accident that resulted in the amputation of her left hand.
Despite this life-changing event, Sita persevered and went on to establish SITAFITT, an online personal training service for athletic performers. Additionally, she appeared as a dancer in Uma’s pirate crew in Descendants 2 alongside China Anne McClain and Thomas Doherty.
Sita is also known for her close relationship with her family. A heartfelt post from May 14, 2017 featured a black and white photograph of herself embracing her mother while expressing gratitude for the grace and strength represented by her mother. She has also shown closeness with her father and older sister.
