Kristen Schaal, born on January 24, 1978, in Longmont, Colorado, is an actress known for her comedic roles. She gained recognition for playing Mel on HBO’s Flight of the Conchords and Carol on FOX’s The Last Man on Earth. Additionally, she voiced Mabel Pines in Disney’s Gravity Falls and Shannon in Despicable Me 2.
Prior to her TV work, Schaal started as a stand-up comedian with appearances on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham. Notably, she also provides the voice of Louise in the animated series Bob’s Burgers.
She married former The Daily Show writer Rich Blomquist in 2012 and welcomed their daughter Ruby in February 2018.
