Krista Tesreau, born on January 10, 1964 in Missouri, is a soap opera actress. She is best known for her six-year stint on CBS’s Guiding Light, where she portrayed Mindy Lewis and received Daytime Emmy and Soap Opera Digest nominations. Tesreau also appeared as Tina Lord on ABC’s One Life to Live and Andie Klein on NBC’s Santa Barbara.
Before her rise to fame, Tesreau started off as a model and took part in teen beauty pageants before joining the cast of Guiding Light in 1983. She also studied at the University of Missouri.
Tesreau married Glen Strauss with whom she has two children; Michael born in 2005 and Julia born in 2008.
