About Krista Siegfrids
Krista Siegfrids, born on December 4, 1985 in Finland, is a world music singer known for her appearance on the first season of Voice of Finland in 2012. Following this, she released her debut album Ding Dong! and represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Marry Me.” Prior to her rise to fame, Krista grew up in Kaskinen, a Swedish-speaking town in western Finland. She began her musical career as part of the band Daisy Jack and also appeared in a production of The Three Musketeers.
During the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 performance, Krista made headlines by kissing one of her female dancers onstage as a statement supporting same-sex marriage legalization in Finland. She comes from a family with three siblings.
