About Klara Soderberg
Klara Soderberg is a Swedish folk singer born on January 8, 1993. She gained fame as one half of the folk music duo First Aid Kit, along with her older sister Johanna. The duo achieved platinum status for their albums “The Lion’s Roar” and “Stay Gold” released between 2012 and 2014.
Recognized for her musical talent, Klara received a Grammis Award for Composer of the Year and also garnered nominations in the lyricist category. Her musical journey began early, writing and performing her first song at just six years old. In 2010, she released her debut album “The Big Black and the Blue” with First Aid Kit.
Notable for her collaborations in the music industry, Klara performed with American band Bright Eyes during a concert in Stockholm in 2011. Her family has strong ties to music as well; their father was associated with the Swedish rock group Lolita Pop.
