About Kirstin Maldonado
Kirstin Maldonado (born May 16, 1992) is a three-time Grammy award-winning multi-platinum recording artist best known as the only female member of the a cappella group Pentatonix. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas and gained recognition for winning season three of NBC’s The Sing-Off with Pentatonix. Before her rise to fame, she was a National Hispanic Scholar who studied music theatre at the University of Oklahoma.
Maldonado has also had an active career in stage productions, performing in various shows around the Metroplex such as Casa Manana and Bass Hall. Furthermore, she is known for her pet Siberian Husky named Olaf, who has his own Instagram account.
On a personal note, Kirstin met her future boyfriend Jeremy Michael Lewis during season four of The Sing-Off. They recorded a popular YouTube video together titled “Disney Love Medley” and got engaged in May 2016; however, they later called off their engagement in October 2017 after being together for over a year and half. In March 2022, Maldonado announced that she was expecting a child with Ben Hausdorff. Their daughter Elliana Violet was born in June 2022.
