She gained fame for her role as Rebecca Howe on the popular television show Cheers and also created the 2005 series Fat Actress. Prior to her acting career, she initially pursued a career in interior design before her appearance as a game contestant on Match Game. In addition to her acting success, Alley competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2011.
