Kino MacGregor, born on September 12th, 1977 in Florida, is a well-known Instagram star and yoga teacher. She has gained fame for her online presence where she shares yoga practices, teachings, challenges, and inspirational writing. MacGregor is the author of several books including her 2012 memoir “Sacred Fire: My Journey Into Ashtanga Yoga.” Additionally, she is the co-founder of Miami Life Center and Omstars. With over 1.1 million followers on her kinoyoga account, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the world of yoga.
MacGregor graduated from Palmetto High School in 1995 before obtaining a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and a PhD in holistic health at New York University. It was during this time that she began practicing yoga at the age of 19.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, MacGregor is known for openly sharing about past struggles with partying, drug use, and depression. Her transparency has resonated with many followers who see her as an influential figure in their personal journeys to wellness.
