Kimmy Gatewood, born on November 25, 1980 in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a TV actress known for her roles in GLOW, The Baby-Sitters Club, Atypical, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She is also one of the members of the 1940s-themed comedy group The Apple Sisters alongside Rebekka Johnson and Sarah Lowe.
Besides performing live and creating sketch videos with The Apple Sisters, she co-hosts a self-titled podcast with them. Additionally, Gatewood works as a writer and director besides her acting career.
Her comedy journey began in 2002 while she was based out of New York but later moved to Los Angeles in 2008 after gaining acclaim for her performances at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
Gatewood has received accolades such as a Daytime Emmy Award, a Micheaux Film Festival award, and a Walla Walla Movie Crush award.
