About Kimmy Fasani
Kimmy Fasani, born on April 25, 1984 in the United States, is a renowned snowboarder. In 2011, she made history by becoming the first female to successfully land a double backflip in both park and powder settings. Her remarkable talent led her to be awarded Women’s Rider of the Year by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine in 2016.
Before rising to fame, Fasani began skiing at just 2 years old and transitioned to snowboarding at age 9. Her early passion for the sport translated into multiple victories as she won the title of USASA National Slopestyle Champion three years consecutively during her teenage years.
In 2011, she married professional skier Chris Benchetler with whom she welcomed their son Koa in 2018.
