Kimberley Crossman is a New Zealand soap opera actress, born on May 24, 1990 in Auckland. She is best known for her role as Sophie McKay in the popular soap opera Shortland Street. In addition to her acting career, she has also worked as a television host on shows such as the Erin Simpson Show and the Cadbury Dream Factory. She appeared in the 2014 episode of the American ABC sitcom Black-ish and played Lauren, the Red Power Ranger, in Power Rangers Samurai. Before gaining fame as an actress, Crossman performed with the Royal New Zealand Ballet and captained a New Zealand cheerleading team that competed in the 2005 World Cheerleading Championships.
Kimberley’s mother is dance teacher Jill Arkley and she grew up in Auckland, New Zealand.
