Kim Nayoon is a pop singer, dancer, and social media star born on December 20, 1994 in San Francisco, California. She gained fame for her participation in the first season of K-pop Star and has since garnered success through her nayoon TikTok account with over 2.2 million followers.
In August 2023, she released a dance performance video for her song “Volar” which quickly amassed over 100,000 views on YouTube within several days.
Prior to her rise to stardom, Kim grew up watching K-pop music videos and singing in her bedroom before deciding to audition for K-pop Star during her junior year of high school. Notably, she performed “Fallin'” by Alicia Keys on the show.
After initial success, Kim put her musical aspirations on hold to attend Boston University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 2022, she married and welcomed her first child that same year.
