About Kim Ismay
Kim Ismay (born March 23, 1961) is an English stage actress known for her roles in musical theatre. She gained fame for portraying Tanya in the original London production of Mamma Mia! and has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). Ismay participated in a United Kingdom tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Prior to her stage career, Ismay earned a performing arts degree from the University of Kent. In addition to her theater work, she has made television appearances on The Bill, EastEnders, and Never the Twain.
Ismay comes from a family background rooted in performing arts; she is the child of Ellen Ismay, a fellow artist and founder of New Era Academy of Drama and Music in London.
