About Kim Hartman
Kim Hartman (born January 11, 1952) is an English TV actress best known for her role as Private Helga Geerhart on the BBC comedy series ‘Allo ‘Allo! in the 1980s. She also gained recognition for her portrayal of Mrs. Rawlinson on the BBC drama Grange Hill. Hartman made her television debut in a 1976 episode of Play for Today after training at London’s Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
In addition to her acting career, she hosted a UK Travel Channel show called Cruising to the Northern Lights and performed in radio dramas such as Jamaica Inn and Lord Sky. Hartman was married to fellow British actor John Nolan with whom she had two children named Miranda and Tom. Furthermore, through her marriage to Nolan, she is also the aunt of acclaimed director and screenwriter Christopher Nolan.
