About Kim Deal
Kim Deal is a vocalist and bassist born on June 10, 1961, in Dayton, Ohio. She gained fame as a member of the alternative rock band The Pixies and later as the vocalist and guitarist for The Breeders.
Prior to her music career, she co-founded The Breeders with her sister Kelley Deal when she was just seventeen years old.
In 2004, she reunited with The Pixies for a tour across the U.S. and Europe. Deal married Kevin Murphy in 1985.
