Kid Capri, born on February 7, 1967 in The Bronx, New York, is a prominent music producer and DJ. He gained widespread recognition as the house DJ for HBO’s Def Comedy Jam for seven seasons. Capri also established No Kid’n Records and produced tracks for artists such as Big L and Heavy D.

Before his rise to fame, he started out DJ’ing local block parties in his hometown of The Bronx before gaining attention as a DJ at Studio 54. In addition to his work in the music industry, Capri has made cameo appearances in films like Fly by Night (1992) and A Get2Gether (2005).

Born David Anthony Love, Jr., Kid Capri comes from a family with musical roots – his father was also a musician.
