Kiami Davael is an American actress, best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the film Matilda. She was born on August 21, 1986 in Kentucky and began her acting career at the age of ten. In addition to Matilda, she appeared in the 2000 film Bruno and later pursued directing and producing theater productions.
Before gaining fame as an actress, Davael took dancing and singing lessons as a child. Her television credits include guest appearances on The Pretender, Moesha, The Steve Harvey Show, and Grown Ups.
Davael moved from Kentucky to California to pursue her acting career before obtaining a degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2008.
