About Kiami Davael
Kiami Davael is best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the ’90s classic kids flick Matilda. She also appeared in 2000’s Bruno and has since gone on to direct and produce several theatre productions. Kiami started off young by taking dance and singing lessons before making her acting debut at 10 years old, appearing in an episode of The Pretender as well as guest roles on Moesha, The Steve Harvey Show, and Grown Ups. After growing up in Kentucky she moved to California to pursue a career in acting and eventually earned herself a psychology degree from the University of Kentucky back home. Fun fact: Matilda was based on Roald Dahl’s book of the same name!
