About Kelsey Nichole Turner
Kelsey Nichole Turner (born May 5, 1993) is a convicted murderer and former model, also known as Badd Barbie. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia but grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas and attended Arkansas State University.
Turner began her career as a lingerie and swimsuit model and appeared in magazines such as Playboy, Maxim, and OneTen. She also had roles in the movies The Promise and Wally Got Wasted. Additionally, she started the apparel company Badd Barbie.
In 2019, Turner made headlines when she was accused of killing Dr. Thomas Burchard along with her ex-boyfriend Jon Logan Kennison. Dr. Burchard was a child psychiatrist in Salinas, California.
Following three years of legal proceedings, Turner pleaded guilty to the charges brought against her and subsequently received a sentence of 10-25 years at the Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center in Nevada during January 2023.
An interesting fact about Turner’s life involved allegations from Dr. Burchard’s fiance claiming that he had paid Turner over $750,000 to be his “sugar baby” during their two-year relationship.
