Kelsey Griffin is a professional basketball player born on July 2, 1987 in Anchorage, Alaska. She currently plays as a forward for the Connecticut Sun in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), having been drafted 3rd overall in 2010.
Prior to her professional career, she excelled during her college years and was named Big 12 Player of the Year while playing at the University of Nebraska.
In addition to her success in the WNBA, Griffin also achieved recognition by winning a WNBL title and MVP honors with the Bendigo Spirit in 2013.
Griffin comes from a close-knit family and was raised alongside a brother named Geoff and a sister named Jayme.
