Kelly Willis is an American country singer known for her chart-ranked albums, including What I Deserve and Easy. Born on October 2, 1968 in Lawton, Oklahoma, she gained popularity with her hit singles like “Heaven’s Just a Sin Away” and “Baby, Take a Piece of My Heart.” After graduating high school, Willis moved to Austin, Texas where she recorded her debut solo album, Well Travelled Love in 1990. Notably discovered and mentored by Lyle Lovett and Nanci Griffith during her early years in Austin. Willis married fellow musician Bruce Robison and they have four children together.
