Kelly Schumacher is a professional women’s basketball player who was born on October 14, 1977 in Ohio. She is best known for playing in more games and blocking more shots than any other player in the history of the Indiana Fever.
Prior to her WNBA career, Schumacher achieved success as part of the University of Connecticut Huskies, winning the NCAA National Championship in 2000.
Before her rise to fame, she grew up in Canada and pursued a degree in Communications at the University of Connecticut. Additionally, she earned a gold medal representing the United States at the 2000 Jones Cup held in Taiwan.
Schumacher also has a family life; she is married to a retired Navy Seal.
