About Kelly Lamor Wilson
Kelly Lamor Wilson, born on December 6, 1999 in Atlanta, Georgia, is a movie actress known for her performances on stage and screen. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Emily in the movie Summer ’03 and received the Best Actress Award at the 2021 Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for her role in the horror short #Nofilter. In addition to these accomplishments, she also appeared as Shari Kenzie opposite Tom Hanks in the 2022 comedy/drama film A Man Called Otto.
Wilson’s journey into acting began at a young age, starting when she was nine years old. By age 15, she was splitting time between training in musical theater in Atlanta and New York City. She signed with an agent at 18 and made her film debut in the 2017 Netflix production The Case for Christ.
In February 2020, Wilson produced, directed, and performed in “I AM WOMAN: A Concert for Female Empowerment,” a charity event supporting women’s rights that premiered off-Broadway at Feinstein’s’54 Below.
Her interest in acting initially sparked when her mother found an acting class at a local theater; both of her parents have been extremely supportive throughout her career.
