Keely Smith was born on March 9, 1932, in Norfolk, Virginia. She is best known as the Queen of swing music and made a significant impact as a jazz singer. Smith gained recognition for her work with her husband Louis Prima and released popular hits such as “I Wish You Love.” Prior to her fame, she started her career at the age of fifteen, singing professionally with the Earl Bennett Band. Notably, she also appeared in the film Hey Boy! Hey Girl!. In terms of personal life, Smith was married to Louis Prima from 1953 to 1969 and then to Jimmy Bowen from 1965 to 1969. With Prima, she had two daughters named Toni and Luanne.
