Kay Alden (born October 24, 1946) is an American screenwriter known for her work on the popular soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. Originally from Kansas, Alden began her writing career while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she wrote for The Young and The Restless.
In addition to her successful career in television, Alden has a scholarship named after her at Emporia State University in Kansas. She is married and has three children.
