Katya Petrovna Zamolodchikova, born Brian McCook on May 1, 1982 in Massachusetts, is a well-known reality star. She gained fame for her participation in the seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race where she was eliminated before the finale, but won the title of Miss Congeniality. Following this, she competed on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars and made appearances on the World of Wonder web series UNHhhh.
Prior to her rise to stardom, Katya joined Twitter in 2010 and had accumulated 55,000 followers by June 2015. Her Instagram following also grew to reach 175,000 at that time.
Interestingly, her stage name is derived from three Russian gymnastics champions: Elena Zamolodchikova, Yekaterina (Katya) Lobaznyuk, and Yevgeniya Petrovna Kuznetsova.
