About Katy Sexton
Katy Sexton is a British swimmer born on June 21, 1982, in England. She gained recognition for winning the gold medal in the 200m backstroke at the FINA World Championships, becoming the first person from Great Britain to achieve this honor. Before her fame, she was a student at Springfield School and competed in the European Youth Olympics in 1995.
In addition to her athletic achievements, Katy has been named ambassador of the Swimming Teachers’ Association in 2011. She is also known for her family life, having been married.
