Katy McAllister, born on February 22, 1991 in Fort Worth, Texas, is a pop singer and songwriter known for her debut album “Take Me Away.” Her single “Here’s to the Heartbreakers” was a breakthrough hit that catapulted her career. McAllister started playing the piano at the age of four and honed her songwriting skills while in high school. She announced via Twitter in April 2014 that she would be releasing an acoustic EP with new material that summer.
McAllister credits her parents for instilling her musical talent. Born in Texas and raised in Denver, Colorado before eventually settling in Nashville, Tennessee, she has three siblings.
