About Katy B
Katy B, born on May 8, 1989, in London, England, is an R&B singer known for her work in the dubstep and house genres. She has also performed under the stage name Baby Katy and is recognized for hits such as “Katy On A Mission,” “Lights On,” and “Crying For No Reason.” In 2022, she released an EP titled Peace and Offerings.
Before rising to fame, Katy B studied music and graduated from the BRIT School. Her debut album also titled On a Mission set a strong foundation for her musical career. Notably, she won a NME Award for Dancefloor Anthem and comes from a musical family; her father David O’Brien sang “Sing Sang Song” at Eurovision 1976 with the Les Humphries Singers.
